Two new articles on music therapy and school from GAMUT researchers

We are proud of our GAMUT colleges Brynjulf Stige and Kaja Elise Enge who all in all has published two new articles on music therapy and school.

In the article «Musical pathways to the peer community: A collective case study of refugee children’s use of music therapy», published in Nordic journal of music therapy, Enge & Stige investigates refugee children’s use of music therapy in a school setting:

In the article «Teaching repertoires and pedagogical improvisation in music practices», published in British journal of music education, Stige togter with Åsmund Espeland investigate characteristics of repertoires in music teaching, and they discuss how these repertoires are related to pedagogical improvisation.
